It has been argued that extensive international joint research cooperation is needed, focusing on three goals to cope with the future coronavirus outbreak.

First, it is to identify the genetic diversity range of coronavirus, which hosts several animal species, identify animal models and human coronavirus infectious diseases in laboratories, and develop “universal” vaccines that respond to all coronavirus that can pose a threat to humans.

Prominent viral scholars, including Anthony Pouch, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Jeffrey Tobenberger, a U.S.

viral scientist who analyzed the genome of the Spanish flu virus, and David Morrence, a senior advisor to NIAID, released comments on the 16th (local time).

Ecology and virus researchers believe that the coronavirus that caused the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19, COVID-19) will continue to infect bats and other wild animals and potentially cause threatening infectious diseases to humans.

Although the vaccine so far is safe and effective, it is not yet clear how long the immune system will last, the authors said. “The virus that caused COVID-19 is expected to develop periodically and circulate, and a new coronavirus that is not yet known can appear at any time.”

The authors urged the need for international cooperation to obtain a wide range of coronavirus samples present in wild animals, including bats, which help them take a step closer to the reality of the coronavirus. Through this, it is possible to give early warning about the coronavirus, which can pose a potential threat to humans.

He also suggested that a “human challenge” is needed to fully understand the progress of infectious diseases by exposing people to COVID-19 in a carefully controlled laboratory environment.
